No question, yoga is awesome! In fact, I even am a yoga teacher myself. But admittedly, sometimes simply doing some good old stretching in a quiet place for as long as it is possible and feels right, is more available and still beneficial for body and soul, especially after a busy day with lots of physical activity.


My favourite, short, yoga inspired stretch sequence:


  • Eagle arms

  • Cow face arms

  • Back bound hands (or use wall)

  • Forward fold into down dog

  • Supine pigeon (way less straining for knees than the normal pigeon pose, I find)

  • Happy baby

  • Glute bridges (admittedly not really a stretch, but more a strengthening exercise)

  • Supine twist


And by the way: I really also like to use massage guns. I have a terra gun, but I know that there are also really well performing cheaper versions on the market by now. So, just do you research and find the one that best fits your needs.
